 Mr. Henry's 90th Birthday.
Come on! Come all! It is time to celebrate Mr. Henry's 90th Birthday.

WE will be hosting a Birthday Reception for Mr. Henry will be at Westhaven Nursing Home located at 1215 Western Rd., Stillwater, OK 74074.

If you can not attend, please send a birthday card to help make it a great day for Hiram. on Thursday, July 24 at 2:30. Hope to see you all soon!

 Alumni Band Camp
The OSU Marching Band has changed their planning on Band Camp. Last year they ended the camp with a family picnic on Sunday. This was a big hit and will continue this year. The Band Camp Picnic being the Sunday before School Starts, August 17, 2008. Please plan on bringing yourselves and all family members for a good time. The picnic will be held at the band room as Old Central Lawn is torn up with construction. The picnic will be from 1 to 3 pm with the band concert at about 4 pm. We will need to have many volunteers to help with about 300 in the band and their parents. If you can help please contact Gary Lanman at 405-408-4588 or Barbara McCray at barbara.mccray@ostate.edu.

 Boh and Max to be honored
Calling all former band members from the Boh and Max Mitchell era as they will be honored during the halftime show this year. These two men were instrumental in setting the foundation of excellance that has come to blossom in our time. Many of these former band members are no longer with us, but if you know any of these individuals please contact them and encourage them to join us on the field or in the stand to honor them. You do not have to play an instrument to joins us.

 Alumni Band Day 2008 - Sept. 12-13
The Alumni Band day has been set for the weekend of September 12-13, 2008 for the football game with Missouri State University. This year we will have a reception on Friday evening in the band room followed by the band day activities on Saturday, September 13. As in the past, we have no idea when the game will be played and so we will have to be flexable with our schedule. In all likelyhood, the game will be played at night, so we will have all day for our activities. We are looking for members who would like to take a more active role in promoting this organization. If you fill that bill and would like to help on the Board of Trustees, please send me an email so I can forward it on to the nomination committee. Plans are under way and will be posted to the website as they come available. Please pass the word and visit www.okstatealumniband.org for more details.
