Presidentt - Gary Lanman

Term Expires in 2010

I attended OSU from 1960 to 1966 and received a BS in Math and worked on a MBA until Uncle Sam called.  The band director was Hiram Henry for marching band and concert band, but Max Mitchell was still around.  I joined KKY and became a Life Member.  In my career working with computers I worked for the Navy, Baltimore Gas and Electric, Texas Instrum Conoco, Continental Resources and the OSU Library until my retirement in 2007.  I am married to Pam and we have three children and three grand children.  All of my children and their spouses graduated from OSU.  Whenever possible I like to take train trips.  I have been a member of OSUABA every year except the first and was happy to help produce the 100 Years of Music Excellence DVD.

President Elect - Rhonda Ringer Riley

Rhonda Ringer entered the OSU Band program and trombone section in 1993.  Besides marching band, she took part in spirit band, concert band, and trombone choir.  She was also a member of Kappa Kappa Psi. Earning her degree in elementary education in the Fall of 1998, Rhonda now has two occupations that have nothing to do with said degree!  However, she enjoys her work as a piano technician and a Mary Kay beauty consultant.  She currently resides in Stillwater.  One of the best highlights from Rhonda's OSU Band career was being there for the Bedlam victory score of 12-0.  Go Pokes!

Participant of the OSU marching band from 1989 to 1995, Concert Band 1990-1997, and Spirit Band 1993 and 1995. I am a Life Member of Tau Beta Sigma.  Graduated with a degree in Mathematics and Statistics in 1995, returned back to OSU Jan 1996 and completed an Accounting Degree in 1998. Currently working as a Financial Assistant and Data Management at the OSU Soil, Water and Forage Analytical Laboratory.  Living in Pawnee with husband, Randy,  and have (2) lovely little boys, Johnn and Jacob! I am the Database enforcer of the ABA and I want your Addresses! :-)

I attended OSU from 1993-95 and was a member of the Marching and Concert Bands.  I am also a Life Member of Kappa Kappa Psi.  Graduated from NSU in 1998 with a Bachelor’s in History Education, returned to NSU and completed a BBA in Telecommunications management in 2004.  Currently employed as a Service Delivery Specialist for MCI.

I was a member of the cowboy marching band from 1987-89 under the direction of Bill Ballenger. I played Baritone and was also a member of the Spirit Band and Symphonic Band. I was also a member of Tau Beta Sigma.

Graduated in 1959 with a BA in Geography. Enrolled in 1955 at OAMC, graduated OSU. Member of the band 1956-1959. Hiram Henry was the director. In those days, we practiced in the old library with egg crate separators nailed on the walls and ceiling for acoustical purposes. You do what you have to do. I was a member of Kappa Kappa Psi. We didn't have many out-of-town trips as the football team was not the greatest in the world, but we did partricipate in one of the early TV games at Denver U. I had a wonderful time at OSU even though I was on a tight budget -- G.I. Bill.

Hi, I'm Julie (Reeves) Tyler! The OSU band and more notably: the alto sax section was honored with my presence for the years 1984-1986. Ok, so maybe I was the one honored. :) While there, I was an active member of Tau Beta Sigma. I currently hold two MEd degrees; one in special education and the other in guidance & counseling. At this time, I work as a school counselor at Monroney Jr. High in Midwest City, America. I live with my two lovely children- Kelli age 14 and Eric-age 11. We live in the country with horses, chickens, guineas, a daschund, and one tabby cat. Life is sometimes complicated, but how I do love living! And, as always, Go Pokes
