The OSU
Alumni Band is an organization made up of past members of
the Oklahoma State University Band programs. Membership in
the Alumni Band is open to any former member of one of the
OSU Bands on an annual due basis.
Membership dues allow the OSU Alumni Band to provide
assistance and support to many of the OSU band programs and
events throughout the year. Recent activities have included
helping with travel expenses, for the OSU Wind Ensemble, to
WASBE Conferences in Schladming, Austria and San Louis
Obispo, California, as well as providing a cookout for
members of the OSU Marching Band during their pre-season
camp.
Over
the course of the year OSU Alumni Band members get together
several times to participate in various events. Some of
these events include the annual OSU Alumni Band Day where
Alumni Band members join forces with the current Marching
Band to perform at the halftime show of a home OSU football
game, performances at OSU basketball games, and an out of
town trip to an OSU football game.
